We are three students [as of 2018] from the specialized school section of the Albert Schweitzer High School in Erfurt (Germany), and we set out to recalculate the center of Germany as part of
our course paper. Currently, about five to seven towns in the center of Germany are competing for the title "We are the midpoint of Germany." Since we believe that every geometric area is
defined by exactly one midpoint, this should also apply to geographical areas, such as the area of Germany.
We hope that our calculation method of squaring and the new midpoint of Germany in Mihla have contributed to this "one and only midpoint." We are convinced that
we have provided all the existing towns in the dispute over the center of Germany a worthy and theoretically flawless competition.
